About the program
Panchakarma is a rejuvenation therapy in Ayurveda. The Pancha (Five) Karma (Action) approach to disease prevention is a combination of five tried-and-tested treatment techniques that revitalize patients by restoring their physical and mental equilibrium.
A Panchakarma Therapist (“Paricharaka” as per Ayurvedic texts) plays an important role in chikitsa. It needs talent, skill, passion, dedication and expertise in theoretical knowledge and practical training to make a candidate an expert therapist.
This is a unique Diploma program, with a blend of hands-on practice & well-balanced theory sessions, spread over the duration of 1 year.
The course is being offered in partnership with The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU), one of the Best Research Institutes in Bengaluru, pioneering Trans-disciplinary Research in Integrative Health Sciences and Technology.
Course Eligibility
12th / PU Science
Duration
The course is spread over two Semesters of six months each.
Semester 1: Classroom + Practical Lab - 6 months
Semester 2: On-the-Job Training – 6 months.
During the practical lab sessions in the first semester and OJT in the second semester, students get hands-on training with senior therapists and learn various Panchakarma therapies, including preparing medicines that are required for panchakarma procedures. They will also get to know about the use of all related equipment.
Assessments
The course will have 2 formative assessments in each semester and 1 Final Summative Exam in each semester.
Internship
The course requires earning 60 credits as mandated by the UGC, of which the major portion is On-Job-Training (OJT)
.
A stipend will be provided by our OJT partners with additional facilities (food, lodging) on a case-to-case basis.
Placement
On completion of the course, students will have the opportunity to join Ayurveda hospitals, panchakarma clinics, Spa and Wellness Centres as Panchakarma Therapists.
We will facilitate the listing of available opportunities from employers all across India and help students apply to such opportunities.
Our goal is to do our best to help every student get placed, post successful completion of the course.

Review of Applications

Interview with Participating Company
Tejas Eduskills will arrange for Student Interviews with a Subject Matter Expert. Students would be invited for an interview with our OJT partners. This interview is an opportunity for the OJT partners to learn more about you, your interests, goals, and suitability for the program.
Notification of Admission Decision
After the review process is complete, we will notify you of our admission decision via email. If you are admitted, the letter will contain instructions on how to proceed with enrollment, including details about fees and any document submission.
Orientation and Onboarding
Prior to the start of classes, we will provide you with all the necessary information and resources to help you transition smoothly into the program. This may include orientation sessions, academic advising, and access to support services.
The course will cover topics such as Fundamentals of Ayurveda, Panchakarma, Dravyaguna (Medicinal Plants), Bhaishjyakalpana (Preparation of Medicine) and Foundations of Nursing.
